Drink Up!

Here's the truth, no matter how expensive or good you think your moisturizer is, your dry skin will never heal until you practice an old advice - drink at least 8 glasses of water daily. And I say W-A-T-E-R, juice, coffee, tea and soda are not counted! It is free and it is good for you.

While moisturizers, facial masks & scrubs are helpful, they are all superficial. You would want to hydrate from within. If your skin is not getting the sufficient amount of water it needs it will become dry, tight and flaky. And dry skin is more prone to wrinkling.

So if you are preparing for the big event of your life such as your wedding or debut, give yourself a favour and drink more water. Nothing will happen overnight, so to achieve that radiant glow from within, include it in your daily routine until it becomes a habit.

Whenever a client books me for makeup, I send them list of things to do before makeup day and drinking water is at the top of the list because I would love for them to be fresh and glowing. After all, skin is the canvas of my art.
