Thank you for booking me for your special occasion! Here’s how to get ready for your hair and makeup appointment:
Makeup Prep
Hydrate & Moisturize: Start drinking lots of water and moisturize your skin every day.
Avoid New Products: Don’t try new skincare or makeup to avoid possible reactions.
Facials/Waxing/Microblading: Do these at least 2 weeks before your appointment to allow skin to heal.
Stop Retinol: If you’re using Retinol, stop 2 weeks before your appointment.Retinol can cause skin peeling, which leads to patchy and uneven foundation. Avoiding it will help us achieve a smooth, flawless makeup application.
Night Before:
Wash your face well and remove all makeup (especially mascara).
Generously moisturize your face and neck
Exfoliate your lips:
Apply lip balm, scrub gently with a toothbrush, rinse, and apply balm again.
Do this both at night and in the morning for smooth lips.
Morning Of:
Just wash your face. I’ll handle all your skin prep from there.
Extra Tip: Sleep early to feel fresh for your big day!
Hair Prep
CLEAN HAIR IS A MUST! We need clean, dry hair for styling.
Important:
Wash your hair the night before your appointment if you plan to wash it.
Do NOT come with wet or damp hair—we won’t have time to dry it before styling.
3 Days Before:
When washing your hair, skip the conditioner. Shampoo only. This gives your hair grip and helps hold the style better.
Haircuts or Treatments?
Get these done at least 2 weeks before—not right before your appointment.
